2025 – TOMCAT CARES - Full Scholarship Process
There are very limited amounts of scholarships available for the 2025 season. They will be based on need. You must fill out an application in full and provide ALL requested documents for your application to be reviewed.
Please complete the information requested on our website link under the Tomcat Cares Menu. After completing the portal questions on-line and emailing all documents you will receive confirmation of the decision rendered. If approved, you will also receive a 1-time use code to be applied at the checkout phase of your participants registration. Please do not register your child for TYTF until a decision has been made so the appropriate codes can be applied to your account.
Filling out the application and providing required documentation does not guarantee approval.
Completed submission and ALL paperwork must be submitted by May 30th through the on-line portal and documents submitted via email.
Please note it is good practice to retain copies of these documents and have on hand in case something happens to them in transit.
All applications will be reviewed by a committee and decisions will be made by June 16th.

TOMCAT CARES SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
The Tomcat Youth Football League has a Scholarship Program to aid parents who may need assistance with registration fees. The TYTFL Scholarship covers the following areas:
- Full Scholarship covers the 2025 season registration fees (does not include volunteer deposit).
Scholarship eligibility is based on household income and need. All information in this application will remain private and confidential. To qualify for a scholarship for the 2025 season, please provide and email copies of the following:
· A copy of the prior year’s income tax return.
· W2’s, 1099 or SSA Award Letters.
· If housing assistance is received, please provide a copy of the Voucher or Award Letters(s).
What Every Parent and/or Guardian Should Know About the Scholarship Process
Before submitting the scholarship request application to the TYTF Board of Directors, parents and/or guardians should understand the following:
- Online registration will not be approved due to paperwork needed for eligibility and limited availability. Please note, filling out and applying does not guarantee approval.
- There are a limited number of scholarships available.
- The scholarship eligibility MANDATORY requirements are as follows:
- Participant must reside in the East Aurora School District 131 Boundaries
- Live in public housing and can produce a section 8 voucher or Families with 7 or more children in the household on public assistance.
- Children from the age of kindergarten to 8th grade.
- Parents’ income must be at or below the poverty guidelines of Illinois set forth below

- Please submit all documentation and the completed application at one time to be considered for a scholarship. Incomplete applications will not be approved.
- Applications will be approved/denied by June 16, 2025. Approvals are valid for the 2025 season only.
How to Apply for the Scholarship
The scholarship request process is very straightforward. To ensure proper diligence, every scholarship request is examined and assessed on its own.
The scholarship request process is as follows:
- Visit WWW.TYTFL.com, Click on Tomcat Cares Menu located across the top of the website.
- Fill out application.
- Email required documents for eligibility to [email protected]
- Once the scholarships have been submitted, TYTF will review the request.
- The TYTF will respond by indicating whether the scholarship has been approved or denied.
Terms and Conditions
If the scholarship request is approved, the following terms and conditions will apply:
- The scholarship covers the registration fees for one season. (Does not include the volunteer fee)
- The scholarship does not cover accessories such as cleats/shoes, arm pads, under gear, etc.
- The On-Line registration must be completed for the player, providing essentials details including address, contact information, media and medical authorization.
- Mandatory Volunteering at every TYTF home game unless they are an approved coach or team mom.
- Parents must sign a commitment letter that the participant to be at every practice and game unless the absence is excused.
- Mandatory participation in the program fundraisers is required.
